What was the last adventure story to run in the Dandy? I read it for a time in the 1970s (though I was more of a Topper man) and I don't remember any adventure stories in the Dandy when I was reading it.

My two little monsters really enjoyed this year's Christmas Beano. My son reads the Bash Street Kids every night before he goes to sleep. I saw that there are a couple of pages of a revamped version of The Great Flood Of London printed in the big Beano history coffee table book. They made me think of that Robert Caslisle Flood film that was on a few months ago. Think the telly people are old Beano fans?

I stopped collecting comics when I went to university back... let's not say how long ago. I started reading them again when my children arrived. Comics are such a great way to get kids reading. I bought a few for the kids and I was hooked again. Thanks to ebay I'm experimenting with a lot of America...

My two little horrors loved this one. After they saw the Beano mentioned on Come Dancing on Sunday night they demanded to read the comic strip again before bed. My daughter's impersonation of Bruce Forsyth is quite something.
