Re: Submitting comics to the gallery

Thank you Goof. I have looked through old emails, including deleted and spam, and cannot find the one that you sent. However, I have adjusted the Specials Gallery as you have detailed. I have kept the 'revised' 1967 Special as a query until we know for sure, but I agree with you about the masthead t...

Re: Submitting comics to the gallery

Thank you Blaing and Goof for your uploads, and apologies that they were not uploaded to the website sooner. Being 'Out of Office' for the past week didn't help me to add these to the Specials section in the past week, but the main problem was that I found them in my Spam folder along with a load of...

Thanks Blaing,

The Specials Gallery has been corrected.

Was there ever a Bananaman Summer Special for 1991?

Re: New look forum

Digi, I'll get on to that during the week.

I don't have the original raw files, just the finished article. But it shouldn't be too difficult to remove those white outlines.

Cheers.

Re: "A pony tale" in Suzy

Derek, P.S. Why have you changed the backgroung colour of your forum to this drab brown? There was absolutely nothing wrong with the original. Can you possibly look on this as an experiment that has failed in its aim, and go back to the tried and tested? Please. No. I explained in a separate topic w...

Re: New look forum

Steve, have you tried changing to any of the other 5 styles (displayed above) to see if any of those are more appealing? Aero and Absolution are quite close to what the old Hestia and bo2soft styles looked like. To change styles: Click on your name towards the top right of this screen User Control P...

New look forum

First of all, many apologies to all members for the recent inability to make a post. I only realised that was happening this afternoon as I attempted to make a post. Ironically, a post telling you all about the proposed new Forum update! I kid you not. I believe the reason for the failure could be d...

Site maintenance taking place tonight 16/17 August 2019

Comics UK is having a bit of a tidy up and general rejig of the website tonight (16th August 2019) at 2200 hrs GMT.

So the Forum will be unavailable from that time for a few hours, while the rest of the website may experience some delays, should you venture over there.

Cheers,

Al

Re: Info on Robot Dinosaurs adventure strip: Reprinted in Ea

Sounds like it might be the adventure strip from Monster Fun entitled March of the Mighty Ones.

It started in issue #1 (dated 14th June 1975). I don't know if it appeared elsewhere.

Here's the first two pages from that first issue.
