Re: Not just any old Amazon delivery rep.

Steve From the BBC News website, "...According to one definition, it is "a labour market characterised by the prevalence of short-term contracts or freelance work, as opposed to permanent jobs". And - taking opposing partisan viewpoints - it is either a working environment that offers flexibility wi...

Is that a poster from the Commando exhibition at the Gordon Highlanders Museum in Aberdeen. That was great, especially the talk given by the Commando people and Ian Kennedy.

Heavy Metal renumbered every year too; got up to volume 36 in about 2012, at which point they moved to continuous numbering.

Re: What comics did you buy today?

Paw That's odd. The site is definitely there, and the URL is correct, but you're right, clicking on it doesn't work right. I found it by searching for "king comic annual" on Google, then clicked on King Comic Annual (UK Magazine) - MandrakeWiki. That should do it. The listing says what strips are in...

Re: "...The Walking Dead Volume 22: A new beginning. I know it's not a UK comic, but I'm really enjoying it..."

Artist Charlie Adlard is British, so it's halfway there.

Re: What comics did you buy today?

Speaking of Tex, New Zealand artist Colin Wilson drew a Tex special. Around 250 black and white pages, fairly roughly finished but excellent work. The title translates into English as The Last Rebel. I know of versions in German and Dutch, and I assume it's available in Italian, but I have it in Fre...

Steve

A slight correction: the artists you named came from the Philippines, not South America.

Re: Marney the Fox - The Book

If Marney sells well enough, there's the potential for a younger readers' version. As seen recently at Down The Tubes (see http://downthetubes.net/?p=40663) there was a full colour reworking of Marney produced for Sunny in the mid eighties. Sunny only ran for nine issues, so there may not be enough ...

Re: Does anyone remember...?

This sounds like The Silver Colt. It appeared in Lion in the mid sixties, but was reprinted in annuals in the seventies, so that might be where you saw it.

Re: Scream and Misty merge for all-new comic

Re comics with three logos on the cover, back in the sixties there was June And School Friend And Princess Library, which ran from 1966 to 1969.

There's a little information, and lots of covers, at https://www.comics.org/series/68274/
