Re: Striker finally has a proper replacement!
The Sun have a wonderful habit of posting ridiculous stories up and then dedicating a minuscule amount of space on their pages for an apology to whoever has been affected, its wrong murdoch should have every apology tattooed on his head. And they only do that when they are not busy going on about ho...

Re: New comic launching in September
If they were worried about adult content, they probably wouldn't sell Viz... I didn't mention content Digi. I was talking about the title. Unless I've missed some new streetwise slang, "Viz" couldn't be mistaken for a rude word. However, as you've brought it up, Smiths refused to sell Viz for years...

Re: New comic launching in September
Sounds great! And the Kick Ass sequel should help it a great deal seeing as the dvd may be due around that time
Re: Viz Tat
Sometime in 1999, I don't have any issues between 107-124 which is when it was most likely advertised! Incidentally if anyones selling any issues I am missing , get in touch ha ha!
Re: Viz Tat
It was a Viz cup, they love sending up the royals, the Queen mum tea towel is another classic!

Re: Matt Smith as Dr Who
Seen them now, I thought they were just colour changes for an election cover thing. Not 100% sure about the new design, looks like you can collapse the head! Not as rigid and fearsome as the RTD daleks, But I have not seen them in action yet, so I should really spare my judgement for now! Pretty gid...

Re: Matt Smith as Dr Who
The Army Daleks or 'Ironsides'? Or have I missed something? The Tardis bouncing around the Time Vortex was something I loved too! The more I see it the more I love it, it didn't have that instant approval though like the new title music from 'Voyage of the Damned' had on me.

Re: Thomas the Tank Engine
Thomas the Tank engine was my entire world when I was a nipper! ha ha ha My Dads favourite (he was obviously 'forced' to watch them by an infant me!!) was when Henry got stuck in the tunnel when he was too scared to get his new coat of paint wet in the rain, so they built a wall at each end of the t...

I recorded it Peter love anything like that, the chickens bit was great and the head thing made me laugh! Nobody really experiments with cinema these days in the way they did back when they had nothing to loose!

Re: Matt Smith as Dr Who
It doesn't hurt that Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) is from God's own country... :D Shes not from Yorkshire is she? I thought she was a Scot! Loved it. I was not looking forward to the Tardis cos the radio times made it look a bit like pee wees playhouse or something but it fits right in and had some love...
