Just received in the mail this afternoon is the latest from the Treasury of British Comics, Ken Reid's Football Funnies: the first half.
Looking forward to getting the Tom Paterson collection later this year.

Re: What comics did you buy today?
I have been a bit quiet lately, as I have been collecting a few anthology US newspaper strip reprint books, the only British comics I have recently bought is a bundle of Whizzer and Chips from 1987 (which included the first larger format issue).

Re: The Comic Archive - What's new
It has been nearly two years since I have done an update.
Today, I look at a vintage Leo Baxendale Bash Street Kids strip from 1961.

Re: What comics did you buy today?
Back with a bumper Beano stash.
I didn't want to say anything until now in case I had Jonahed myself
I bought a selection of issues from the late 50's until 2016, including the reproduction of No. 1000.
I will be sending it on to myself next week.

Re: What comics did you buy today?
An update to my previous post. I got my parcel this afternoon, and the second comic turned out to be Prog. 780 of 2000AD. I'm still waiting for the Evil Genius special No. 2 from Rebellion. I should get that either tomorrow, or on Monday due to Australia Post delivering letters every second day, due...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
I have been very busy this last few weeks. I have picked up the Cor!! summer special, as well as the Nipper holiday special. I have also picked up No. 7 (but there was two comics in the bundle, so it has got me wondering what the other one is? I will know when it arrives here soon.) I also picked up...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
I have had a busy couple of weeks. I had picked up a near mint copy of the 1982 Shiver and Shake annual, a few issues of Big Comic Fortnightly, plus the 1992 holiday special, and the first issue of the Funny Fortnightly. I should get the final special from the 2020 specials bundle in the next week o...

Re: What comics DIDN'T you buy today?
First time I have missed out on buying something in a while.
Phil-Comics had a couple of auctions of the Topper I was after, but as funds would not allow me, I couldn't afford to bid for them
Another one that got away. Hopefully next year
