Just received in the mail this afternoon is the latest from the Treasury of British Comics, Ken Reid's Football Funnies: the first half.

Looking forward to getting the Tom Paterson collection later this year.

I have been a bit quiet lately, as I have been collecting a few anthology US newspaper strip reprint books, the only British comics I have recently bought is a bundle of Whizzer and Chips from 1987 (which included the first larger format issue).

It has been nearly two years since I have done an update.

Today, I look at a vintage Leo Baxendale Bash Street Kids strip from 1961.

I bought a selection of issues from the late 50's until 2016, including the reproduction of No. 1000.

I will be sending it on to myself next week.

An update to my previous post. I got my parcel this afternoon, and the second comic turned out to be Prog. 780 of 2000AD. I'm still waiting for the Evil Genius special No. 2 from Rebellion.
