Re: This weeks Dandy

My error that one. I read the post hear first about there being a special guest before my issue turned up. Very excited now for next week!

Re: This weeks Dandy

I've been wondering that myself. From reading the spoiler before reading the comic (the one about a very very very special guest), I kept thinking, surely, he's not it? Perhaps they used it for space filler? Is it in this weeks Beano?

Re: The penultimate edition

Good spot! I guess this was done to make it fit more neatly on the page? If they didn't the bar code would likely have covered up part of "winning line"?

Re: The penultimate edition

Good news! It turned up this morning! Looks like the previous weeks was just very late! Having them delivered has been great but sporadic at times. Some weeks I will get two issues within a few days of each other and then others its nearly a week and a half! All the same, I'm glad that I've subscrib...

I've got them all so far, my latest edition being the Korky the Cat one. I have not gotten any editions after this yet.

Re: The penultimate edition

How have you managed to get your copy? I am also a subscriber but only got the Korky the Cat retro cover this Saturday just gone, I hope I don't have to wait till then to see it! Do you have a picture you could upload?

Its not on my iPhone either, the most recent issue is November 17th :-(

Lion Comics from the 1950s

Hi all, does anyone know much about the Lion comic? I've never really come across it before and have been offered a variety from the 1950s that have been bound. Not sure if they can be seperated to original comics or not (I'm personally not a fan at all of bound comics, rather have them all loose, b...

Re: Digital Dandy

Just throwing this idea out there and apologies if this has already been discussed, but, has anyone considered that the digital Dandy might actually have sounds and voices? Could we hear for the first time in history, the voices of Desperate Dan and Korky? It would be great if it was interactive, wi...

Re: This weeks Dandy

Hi all, just thought I would post this. Not been very active recently! I have shocked myself at how much I have enjoyed the Dandy for the past few months! I've chuckled and loved the cheeky references to the mid 1990s! I actually took out a subscription months ago, I rang up the Dandy and said how m...

Re: What comics DIDN'T you buy today?

Are you from Stafford? What sort of comics do you collect? Happy to meet up for swaps etc. I couldn't belive the size of Stafford carboot today, never seen it so big!

From the sounds of it, I've missed out on other items though, I didn't get there until half 10.

Re: What comics DIDN'T you buy today?

Wow! This is a small world, Philcom55, I don't suppose you were at Stafford Carboot this morning? I saw that copy for £10 and had a good look at it. I asked the lady what her best price was and bought it on the spot. Couldn't believe when I saw it! Are you from Stafford? I live up by the hospital......
