Your excellent illustration appeared in a Black Bob Annual. Unsure of the date but the British guide lists the back cover illo as Bob with 3 other dogs. If that's right it's 1959. Just bought an original Black Bob sketch and I'd love to know which Dandy it appeared in. I'm told by the seller that it's some time in 1949.

Another Magic Fun book on ebay 353733583505 being offered at £300 or £650 buy it now, by a different zero feedback seller. Funny thing is if you hover over the pictures of the 2 books and enlarge them...
