Your excellent illustration appeared in a Black Bob Annual. Unsure of the date but the British guide lists the back cover illo as Bob with 3 other dogs. If that's right it's 1959. Jack Prout / Black Bob

Just bought an original Black Bob sketch and I'd love to know which Dandy it appeared in. I'm told by the seller that it's some time in 1949.
