GCD indexing anomaly

I found some Beezers in my storage unit and among them are Beezer and Cracker and Beezer and Plug issues. These are 16 page tabloid comics but the four centre pages are either Best of Cracker or Best of Plug sections. Printed sideways and designed to be pulled out, folded in half and cut along the t...

Ummm, don't you buy the Beano, Sparky and similar?
Why, I oughta...

Re: Star Wars UK Monthly Comics Prices Marvel

When I worked on the post office counter in SE London from 1985 to 1990 I used to cash giros for David Prowse whose gym was nearby. So I had the distinction of serving Darth Vader.

I missed the last issue of TV comic but wrote to Polystyle and received a copy together with a letter from the editor which I still have.

Re: To buy or not to buy

Was the boy's own paper much more collectable in the past? I doubt anyone is left alive who read it as a child in its hey day. I just looked up how long it lasted. It started in 1879 ended in 1967, thats 88 years. Its still beating the Beano. But 1967 isnt too long ago there should be people alive ...

Received today Buster & Giggle November 30th 1968. I'm finding it more difficult to find 1960's Busters...
I have dozens of 1960s Busters including issue 1 and some larger size early issues. I'm selling off most of my collection on ebay but it's slow progress.

Re: Alan Class covers

There's an Alan Class cover featuring Iron Man where the face of a female (villainess?) that iron Man is rescuing has been changed from fear to happiness. Just checked and its Creepy Worlds 68 which uses the original cover art. The American version was changed by the comics code I think to make her ...

Perhaps even Forest Green could win the treble if they broke over 100 FFP rules.
