ROVER COMIC HELP NEEDED
Hello all, I am in need of some help from a fan of the Rover comic, in particular any Rover fan who has issues between 1948 and 1949. My grandfather recalls being featured in the readers section for a poem under the name of either: Edward Teitge or his mother Nora Dobson. He claims that he won a pri...

Re: EAGLE COMICS FOR CHINA
Thanks guys for your posts and links! Sorry it's been a while, I've been caught up with teaching so not logged into this forum in a while.
That Eagle cutaways book looks fantastic! I will have to buy a copy when I am back in the UK next month.
Have a great Christmas and New Year!

EAGLE COMICS FOR CHINA

The pages which had beautiful labelled illustrations of machines, objects etc. Even though Eagle was before my time, they always a...

Re: Rocket Comic 1956 Full Set
There was never a problem with the original link Phoenix thus it was either your browser or you clicked on it before eBay had officially launched it at 19:10:20. Hence why no one else has had a problem.

Must be your browser? Here's another link;

Re: Rocket Comic 1956 Full Set
Hello one and all! I am temporarily back in the UK, on holiday from my job in China. After much internal debate, I have decided to downsize part of my collection, including this lot of Rocket comics. I have placed them up for auction and they are scheduled to start at 19:10 this evening (February 10...

Re: What comics DIDN'T you buy today?
Stash of 1970s Beano, Bunty, Mandy comics from Stafford carboot. They were all over the place in dirty boxes. They would have cleaned up OK but seller insisting on £2 each! Seller said that's the "eBay price". What he obviously couldn't comprehend is that some people tend to take a bit more care of ...

Buster Comic Flyer
Hi all, Just thought I'd post this here, I was delighted to find this rather colourful flyer for the Buster comic free gifts. It mentions on the flyer "Buster's Boomerang" and "Buster's Book of Flyince Aces" I wish some of the Beano / Dandy one's were like this! https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/...

Re: The return of The Yeti
Wasn't there a Yeti that merged with the Dandy in the 1980s? Either from Nutty or Hoot....oh wait, just come to me, I might be thinking of the Polar Bear, Polar Blair?
