Alternatively, you could wait and actually see it before making a comment.

Re: Two More Lost Doctor Who Episodes Found!
The little bit of test footage I saw for Reign of Terror looked terrific. And I agree - Cosgrove Hall did a great job on The Invasion. They even got Patrick Troughton's skippy-run just right.

Re: Two More Lost Doctor Who Episodes Found!
Be fair, though - that spangly catsuit is a fashion classic and Wendy looked fab in it.

Re: *ADVERTS SPOILER ALERT* #3617 - 7th Jan 2012
At the moment I'm using stories from the Dandy, circa 1985-86. I was working on the Dandy at least part of that time so I may actually wind up using some of my own stories. Mr B will be in the 2013 Beano annual. I know because I wrote it about a month ago and I'm very much looking forward to seeing ...

Re: *ADVERTS SPOILER ALERT* #3617 - 7th Jan 2012
They have actually update the Beano website and their is now a bananaman section in the characters section. But it doesnt appear that any of the character's that have been dropped have been dropped from that section. The Three Bears have been removed from that section of the website to make way for...

Re: *ADVERTS SPOILER ALERT* #3617 - 7th Jan 2012
Ivy was created by Alan Digby, and was based on his daughter. Ditching her was really a way for Mike to put his own stamp on things. That's not accurate at all. When Mike took over, we had a meeting to discuss things and as an office we all agreed that when we took all the factors into account - pa...

Re: Two More Lost Doctor Who Episodes Found!
They already did a couple of episodes in similar animation to Infinite Quest (but in grayscale, obviously). Proved too expensive. :( But the missing episodes of The Reign Of Terror are being animated for DVD release next year and there were rumours last week that another story was having missing ep...

Re: Two More Lost Doctor Who Episodes Found!
I've got the Loose Cannon recon of The Highlanders and it's a lot of fun but for me it would be either The Web of Fear or Fury From The Deep.

Re: Two More Lost Doctor Who Episodes Found!
Out of sheer noseyness, does anyone have a particular lost story they'd love to see return?

Re: Two More Lost Doctor Who Episodes Found!
With apologies for being late to the topic (I've been on me hols)... Fantastic news. Great to get eps of Hartnell and especially Troughton back into the archive. I still live in the hope that somebody somewhere has Troughton's Dalek or Yeti tales stashed in a basement and that they'll turn up in tim...

Re: Happy Anniversary, Doctor Who!
Aah... Target novelisations... Doctor Who is my addiction, and the books particularly so. I bought my first in 1976 - Doctor Who And The Loch Ness Monster, bought appropriately enough in Inverness. I spent years collecting every edition of every Target, including most of the foreign ones - although...

Re: Happy Anniversary, Doctor Who!
Heh. I only collected the UK books (mainly), but the completist in me used to always be on the look out for missing adventures. I once became so obsessed, I used to go to every library sale for miles around just to look for the hardback editions... I still haven't read Pescatons or Harry's War...I ...

Re: Where has Tom Paterson gone?
I'm afraid I have no idea what Tom's plans are. I haven't spoken to him since I stopped writing Fred's Bed around March. I've heard bits and pieces about what his plans might be but I honestly don't know for sure what he's up to. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Re: Where has Tom Paterson gone?
Tom isn't as old as some of you seem to think. He's late-ish 50s. He just started drawing when he was young - he was drawing pages for Albert Barnes when he was still at school.
