Re: Big news for Ken Reid fans!

Two strips in Tammy

Looking for help in identifying the dates of two strips in Tammy. I don't know the names of the stories but one was about twins Dawn & Midnight who were shown in a zoo like place and another one was about a girl being bitten and transforming into a spider. Any suggestions, please?

Re: KAZOOP!! blog news

For the first time on my blog I have an article by a guest writer and a fellow member of this Forum John Wigmans. We have a shared enthusiasm for Gulliver Guinea-Pig and John’s article covers the origins of this character, best known for his appearances in Playhour nursery comic in 1958 - 1965. You ...

Re: KAZOOP!! blog news

In my today‘s post I have included a letter that Ken Reid received from an Odhams employee who seemed to have shared his sense of humour. Any ideas as to who the author may have been? Here‘s the link to the blogpost: http://kazoop.blogspot.lt/2017/10/lette ... -reid.html

My copy doesn't have those details. By the way, your message says No. 4 but the photo is of the cover of No. 3 :)

Re: KAZOOP!! blog news

In the three most recent posts on my blog I showed 3 pieces of unpublished original artwork by Ken Reid, all being different versions of a crazy bird, drawn as a part of a series with which he hoped to attract the attention of Mad USA in 1969. You can see the last one here: http://kazoop.blogspot.lt...

Re: KAZOOP!! blog news

My most recent post is about Ken Reid as a boater. I have scanned Ken's letter and illustration that was printed in Practical Boat Owner magazine in 1969. You can find the blogpost here: https://kazoop.blogspot.lt/2017/02/ken- ... 5613314550

Re: Unpublished issues of Whoopee
I'm sure i read somewhere issue 500 was numbered incorrectly and it actually wasnt the 500th but fleetway messed up and didn't take strikes etc into consideration but i may have dreamt that
You are quite right. What they advertised as issue 500 was in fact No. 494. Issue 500 c...
