Help with BEA
Can anyone find me a frame from a 'Bea' story (1 1/2 or 2 pages, not a single page story) between 2001 and 2006 in which there is a bus queue where a young lady in a black hat is carrying a saxophone? Much thanks if you can. I'll do you a free sketch. How's that?

Re: Quick Question about Scouse Mouse
I was reading my Whizzer and Chips and in the reader's section someone asked who drew Scouse Mouse and they said they could not tell them because they didn't want any other comic taking him. Who was the artist at the time? It was usually Julie Evans during the Whizzer and Chips era. I think George ...

Re: What comics did you buy today?
I met Phoenix and had a nice drink and chat with him. I notice that Steve has mentioned meeting up with me at the Comic Fair. I was delighted that he did make himself known to me this time. He's a really nice guy ...he introduced me to his mate Steve, who was equally friendly and chatty. Let's hope...

Re: Comics on TV
Still going through old video tapes and today I came across Michael Aspel interviewing George Harrison and Ringo Starr. He asked Ringo about Thomas the Tank Engine and Ringo said when he was asked to do it he was unfamiliar with the books "I was a Beano lad" he said. Don't know the date of the inte...

It was quiet down my end of town, whatever the Liverpool Echo says. (Which is not "always" 100% accurate, in my experience!)

Re: The Dandy and The Beano - Classic Christmas Comic Covers
Blimey. We had a phone installed in our council house in 1962! It was red (which distressed my mum for years- she wanted 'ivory', as Elsie Tanner had a red one, and we all knew about HER) and I never got used to the bell! Why did we get it? My mum was one of 5 sisters...

Re: 100% Official Dennis the Menace and Gnasher MEGAzine
PIE FACE! Nice one! Every time I've done a 'How To Draw' event, from the first in 199-something (not that I've done that many), I've asked who the kids want me to draw, and without fail, after Dennis and Gnasher, the next choice is ALWAYS Pie face! He's hugely popular, way, way more popular than Cur...

Re: 2014 Annuals
Beano Annual readers may be interested to know that, among other things, I will be drawing the cover for the 2016 book in the next couple of weeks. And, no, that's NOT a typo, I really do mean 2016!
