Hiya Casper: I have had a look through my files and here are the very first and last pages of The Nameless Ones that started in BULLET in 1978...the bulk of the story takes place in a sinister Totalitarian-like complex---I can check further if you like---dammit I am going back to read this story!! h...

There are loads of comics still on sale, but the ones I see are almost all glossy tie-ins of media properties which look really bland to the point I can't pinpoint or recall a single individual cover-------or specific image---- of any of them. It is the equivalent of almost every comic on sale in 19...

Society has definitely got coarser since the time of ACTION [the recent Halloween make up is far more grotesque and nasty than in my day, for example] so I expect ACTION would still have an audience of sorts.

yes David: turning pro at age 16 is impressive by any standards: even Dudley Watkins started at a relatively advanced age of 18!
