Over the last few weeks I got some issues of Look-in that added to 1973,1981 and completed 1972.
Some Commandos from shop, just recent issues.
Superfriends, another issue, despite it being a late 70s DC comic, it's surprisingly hard to collect. Only 47 issues and 2 specials but whilst most issues are between £4 and £7, the others are £40-£100 and some just never show up!!!!
I'm getting there and will continue!
A couple of "Bullet" comics.
Completed my Tomorrow People paperback original two series collection (9 books,3 hard to find).
More "Man From Uncle" paperbacks from original series of books, I am about halfway there.

BTW: I suppose if one is being pedantic then I shouldn't really include paperbacks here BUT I believe most comic collectors also have an interest in certain "cult" books that are representative of the medium, era and so forth.
I wouldn't, for example, post about my collection of Martin Amis (my favourite author) here as I feel that it wouldn't fit in.
Hope this makes sense!

Massive Congrats for completing the Scream German set.
Very nice covers.
Also love the Beano covers.
The Beano was so fantastic and yet (in my opinion) went totally odd at some stage, not certain of which year, possibly sometime this century, maybe the 1990s???
OMG I sound so old !!!!!
Anyhow, much love for the original Beano always and wonderful issues you have there.
Thanks jim244. Hey, don't be too hard on yourself. You are only old when you start to creak lol.

Yeah, I found the set after doing a bit of detective work after seeing for sale a German scream comic. Thought to myself. Never seen one of those before? Anyway, I contacted two German sellers, one who sold Scream no.3 on UK ebay , and the three others I found listed on ebay Germany.

Anyway, long story sort. The seller didn't post outside Germany, but I politely asked him in German and think he felt sorry for me. I must have sounded to him like the British policeman in Allo Allo.

PS. I agree. Those three Beanos are lovely. Just adore the old cover art.
Well, hello there!

Got myself a Buster comic issue 7th April 1990, and some original "Ricky Rainbow, The Most Colourful Boy In The World" artwork by the cartoonist James "Jimmy" Hansen. Very nice they are too. :)

Also bought some more Lew Stringer artwork and the comic/magazine the art appeared in. A page of signed Viz " Suicidal Syd" original art & comic issue no.186 June/July 2009, and a page of signed Doctor Who Dalek art & magazine issue no.612 from January 2025.

Certificate granted to "Captain Scott R.N. F.O.S. because he is a brave explorer and deserves success", according to which "he shall be entitled to affix to his name in any manner however absurdly indistinct or offensively conspicuous the mystic letters F.O.S." Dated 27/9/1909, and issued to Captain Scott as he began planning his 2nd Antarctic expedition.

Thank you. I've been after this for quite a while but couldn't afford it. Luckily I had a good ebay sale and jumped right on it!
