D C Thomson in the family

Being a bit of a part-time genealogist, and with half my family hailing from Dundee, I've come across one or two second or fourth cousins who work or have worked for DC Thomson. Anyway, today I got an email from a cousin (once-removed!) who says:

"...a very close friend of ours, Dave Donaldson, is Editor-in-Chief of DC Thomson's in Dundee - he invented "Bananaman" and "The Numbskulls". In our motorbike days, if we were away the weekend, Dave would often include our adventures of the weekend in his script for the following week!"
