Was watching a bunch of late 1940s early 1950s Beanos on ebay and none had the opening bid so I thought I'll stick on a cheeky bid as I usually win one or two....
I won them all.

Here are some details of the Swedish Buster. The strips are:

Busters Dagbok - Buster’s Diary (Buster)

Dynamite Charlie – Typhoon Tracy (Hurricane)

Mästerhjärnan – “Mastermind” (?) - any ideas?

Skid Solo (Hurricane, Tiger)

Fallskärms-Jägaren Rock På Special-Uppdrag - "Parachute Hunter Rock On Special Assignment" (?) - any ideas?

Var Med Och Lös Zip Nolans Deckargäta – Zip Nolan (Lion)

Rovers till Anfall – Roy of the Rovers (Tiger)

Also finding free gift issues. I picked up alot of 1980s Buster Comic free gifts when I bulk bought a stack of 1980s Buster comics. It was like christmas.

Fallskärms-Jägaren Rock På Special-Uppdrag looks like "Sergeant Rock - Paratrooper" from Smash.

Looking at the cover again I noticed the date of 1967 so I don't think it can be from Smash as I thought that strip began in 1969.

It did, but those 1969 strips in Smash! were reprinted from Hurricane from 1964.

Mastermind is from Valiant in 1965. Drawn by Stan MacMurtry.

Daily Dredd volume 2 from ebay; less than £20 even though the cover price is £30. I don't get it - how is that? It was brand new and in mint condition. I'm baffled. The book was only released a few weeks ago.

Well not quite today to be fair, but a few days ago I did a personal pick-up from 30th Century Comics of my pre-ordered issue 65 of Tracy, so now I only need twelve issues for the full run. Will and I had our usual informative chat, and it was great to see him back in harness after his very welcome and successful hip operation.

Four grab-bag girls comics from a cheap ebay win: 2 x June and Schoolfriend from 1971, 1 x Judy from 1979, 1 x Jinty 25 October 1975 which gives me a duplicate of that issue. Not bad - it gives me a glimpse into other comics of the era that I otherwise don't know that much about.
jintycomic.wordpress.com/ Excellent and weird stories from the past - with amazing art to boot.

Upgraded on a batch of July - Dec 1967 Sparky's. These were best condition one's I've come across since UK Comics member `Steve Zodiac` sold me a batch of pristine 1965 one's. You rarely see them in such fine condition as this.
A Face unclouded by thought.
