So it's not only the Melchester fans that can belt out an entire sentence in the 0.3 seconds it takes for the ball to travel from the players boot to the back of the net.

The Daily Mail supporting and promoting British comics? Maybe tomorrow the Guardian will come out in support of the EU referendum.
Help! Help! We're being held prisoner in a signature factory!

I take it that this will be in their magazine on Sunday?

There was no Roy strip in Saturday's Mail and I flicked through the Mail on Sunday in Tescos and could see no strip there either. It must be online only. On the good news front I have just bought all my Scorchers and Score 'n' Roars across from my Mum's flat as well as some vintage boy's papers.

I checked the magazines as well. Nothing in them either. Mind you, a great result for Man C, Fergie must be livid.

Peter can you explain further? Did you get a comic and was it in Saturday's or Sunday's Mail? I'm intrigued. There was no blurb on the front of the sports section about Roy of the Rovers.

You can download it as it is the only way to make it legible, but it is 54 Mb of pdf. This is one of the few times that I am kicking myself for not being a Daily Mail reader....big bad bri wrote:Can u put it up please peter as it is impossible to read on the daily mail site.

I hate to say this, but they couldn't have got it more wrong could they? United were thrashed 6-1 with 10 men, but this strip predicted Nani scoring an equaliser for the Red Devils. Guess they didn't expect either team to lose their unbeaten record, especially in such spectacular fashion.

Re: Roy of the Rover in todays Daily Mail..a one off?
Just phoned my mum and asked her to retrieve Friday's mail from the recycling bag. I buy four papers every day and don't always look at every page. This morning I had to retrieve Friday's Express as I had forgotten to cut out the Graham Allen cartoon. Good job she hadn't put the used tea leaves in it.
