New Comic Display's at Asda

Post by BeanoKev70 »

At last we have some progress, went into my local Asda yesterday & they now have a large cardboard stand with Kids comics emblazed on it with about 9 different titles on it. The Beano only had three issue left which is good if we could get all supermarkets to adopt this way going forward, I think it will be a step in the right direction.

Well it will certainly be better than going sideways or backwards, Kev. Any chance of removing the butcher's apostrophe in your title while we are waiting?

Shouldn't that be Fo-ee-nickz, Rab, seeing as how the 'o' comes before the 'e' in my username? :)

I didn't think there was 9 different proper comic titles left as the only ones i know are beano & beano max & i would say Phoenix but that is not availalble in proper supermarkets or shops.perhaps the marvel/paninni reprints as well I wouldn't call the others comics as thay are full of ads & game reviews, but i could be wrong.

Us old folk of a bygone generation when Comics were comics & kids read them & were not swayed by sweets or plastic tat in a bag of a magazine
