I reckon it will be mid to late July before Amazon will get hold of them (it happened same time last year.) :(

In the end, I ended up buying the annuals through the D. C. Thomson shop.

I've seen the Beano and Dandy annuals in the shop...nice they both have lots of older characters brought up to date or in retro style...
A new old Lord snooty in the Beano annual..
Figaro (Topper)in the Dandy annual..

no sign of Beano and Dandy special yet..

I had my annuals on order via Amazon but still no sign so I canceled my order and ordered them from The Book Depository instead. They're in the post now.

According to the Book Despository, the Beano and Dandy Book "Silly Sing Along" is due to go on sale in two days. If I haven't heard from Amazon by Thursday, I'll buy through them. (I didn't buy through Amazon for the annuals in the end last year, and ended up buying through the DCT shop.)

WHSmith has the Beano and Dandy annuals, and a few of the licensed titles, but there's a lot that isn't out yet. Waterstones didn't have any annuals on display.

I checked my local WH Smith and Waterstones yesterday and no sign. However, Amazon have finally dispatched my copy of The Dandy, yet, strangely, not The Beano, despite the fact I asked them to send them in as little packaging as possible. I was hoping to give The Beano to my nephew for his birthday this weekend just gone. Hopefully, they should arrive soon and I can give my opinion on them. I'm looking forward to seeing some past characters appearing.

Not surprisingly my local Smiths has no 2014 annuals as of yet. Fortunately my copies from The Book Depository should arrive tomorrow.

Don't forget, the bargainous Triple Trouble Pack from the DC Thomson shop includes the Dandy Annual, Beano Annual AND the Beano 75th anniversary bookazine for a mere £14...

Fab! Finally got around to ordering the 2014 Beano annual, which is now winging its way to me in time for breakfast tomorrow (more likely lunch). Looking forward to having a good ol' giggle and gander with a nice cuppa (and enjoying the hopefully varied styles of artwork - detailed or more simple. If it's funny it's got my thumbs up). Dandy annual was ordered through DC Thomson with my gazillion Dandy Digital credits I had left so hopefully that'll be arriving soon. :)

Not seen that on the high street yet. I think it's not due out until next month.
