You might also want to try asking the Goodies Fan club at http://www.goodiesruleok.com

I have already posted it at the Goodies Rule OK website, and they were asking if it was the same artist who drew the Goodies strip in Cor!
I said i'd find out by asking some comic experts...

It MIGHT be by Mike Lacey, who drew Sid's Snake (and many other strips). On the other hand, it might be by some advertising company who've had a designer crib various bits from different comics. (Such as the dog and cat).

It's definitely not the artist who drew the Cor!! strip. That was Joe Colquhoun, who later drew Charley's War.

Thanks Lew - I'm not familiar enough with his work to say. Kim Stevens also noted the similarity between the dog & cat, and other work in traditional comics like Buster, Whizzer & Chips etc.
But as you say, any reasonably proficient artist could mimic a style. I suppose even i could at a push...

The dog and cat look like they were cribbed from Baxendale (copied, not lifted if you know what I mean). I don't think it was Mike Lacey. It doesn't quite has his feel. Could it have been an in-house ad agency artist?

Very few advertising agencies would have an in-house illustrator - they would have commissioned someone, unless they had no budget in which case one of the designers might have cribbed someone's style themselves...
