I think someone has had a little too much sugar in their cocoa when they listed this issue of TV Tornado!. Adam Eterno and I were discussing it and we think it's overpriced by at least £300 if not more.

I was ready to bid £200.00 on these comics as Captain America Comics #2 was included. But a few minutes before it ended I decided to make sure the comic wasn't reprinted. Sure enough in the early seventies there was a series of 38 golden age reprints called the Alan Light Flashback series. The original Captain America 2 is valued at around $50,000 so as this one sold for only £92.00 I suspect many did the same research as me. Mind you I can't be 100% sure it's not an original.

Further research tells me the contents were black and white.

I collected the Great Newspapers Reprinted series in the seventies but the Jack the Ripper reprint of five issues of Police News eluded me until about ten years ago when I came across a copy in Greenwich and paid about £1 for it. This seller has removed the wraparound cover and charged a bit more.
