Was it part of the Comic or a loose leaf. It rings a bell. I paid £5 for it about ten years ago at Greenwich. In the good old days before the market was developed into an office block.

It was a centre page pull-out I believe. I remember Greenwich with fond memories as I worked there for a year in a little office next to a dog grooming parlour down an allyway that led to the undercover market in 1990ish. Lunches in Goddards and playing pool after work in a pub by the station. I remember having a 2kg mobile phone that weighed down my coat on one side ridiculously!

It's obviously a black oblong, Steve. Not really worth £200 in my opinion. Nor a rusty nail for that matter.

Reminds me of that old joke...........man walking through the woods, sees a current season ticket for Sunderland football club nailed to a tree with a rusty nail, 'Mmmmm' he says pulling out the nail and putting it in his pocket, 'that nail will come in handy'.

That's struck a memory from the distant past, Steve. Am I right in thinking that it was uttered every week in The Knockout by Our Ernie's dad?

That's right. My mate Steve used it last week in an email which brought it back to mind. Also I picked up a nice run of fifties Knockouts recently.
