That strikes me as vague on purpose... all he's really selling are issues between certain numbers, not full runs or anything.

I'm surprised he achieved that price for them to be honest

This looks as if it's going to be a record for a Commando #1 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391442944868? ... EBIDX%3AIT

I'm glad I'm not collecting Commando.

Ha! The seller is selling a few early issues by the looks of it.

Remind me why don't you... This is why I was so happy with my epic deal from last week. I need to get real lucky to ever end up with one of the first four.

Not just Commando comics, what a great price for 2000AD #2 today with Biotronic stickers! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361543197776? ... EBIDX%3AIT

There is currently a 2000AD number 1 on eBay for £3,897.97. Regardless of how nonsensical I consider that valuation to be, what I would like to know is how exactly do these sellers arrive at such unusual valuations?

2000AD prog. 2 with the stickers seems to come up less often now than a few years ago - I remember it was about £100 with the stickers in 2010 and they seemed to appear frequently enough on eBay for me not to hurry to get one - well, that was a mistake!

I issue 2 with stickers for £600 a few years ago so I hope one of the people who missed out on that one won it this time.

It's sought after because it features the first Judge Dredd story of course.

Exactly the time and price I remember and luckily I did get a couple! I just can't believe how quickly their price has risen and Lew says one went for £600!

I think you'll find that that's the price for the entire collection of almost 2000 2000AD comics with a couple of gifts. Still very expensive but a massive collection

I think the prog number count is currently up to about issue 1980: I have yet to see their 'prog 1977' but hopefully they done some sort of reference to this number within that issue-----and surely Prog 2000 later this year will be a landmark to be celebrated.

BEANO reached number 2000 around 1980 which sort of puts all this timeline into perspective.........

Imagine how much a collection of the first 1980 issues of Beano would be worth!?
