Robert Vaughn RIP
Re: Robert Vaughn RIP
I always enjoyed the Protectors more than the Man from UNCLE. I always enjoyed Steel and Sapphire more than David Callum's appearance in Man from UNCLE. I'm a strange man indeed.

Re: Robert Vaughn RIP
I remember Thursday nights in the sixties stuck in the kitchen watching The Man From UNCLE on a pprtable tv. It was preceded by Top of the Pops and followed by the news and then The Frost Report. UNCLE still is my all time favourite tv show. They released season 1 on dvd last year to cash in on the new movie but still no sign of seasons 2-4.

I forgot to say that I saw him a few years ago at the Garrick theatre in Twelve Angry Men with Martin Shaw in the Henry Fonda role.

I loved him in The Man from UNCLE and got all the films plus the first series.
More recently, I liked him in Hustle.
