Great news! Just a shame it's not ready for this Christmas so I'll have to wait until next year. Hopefully the bulk of stories will fit in only 1 or 2 volumes.

Great that Rebellion are getting on with turning their archived material into graphic novels.

I still live in hope that they may use them to create new material in a new weekly/monthly mag.

SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS!!! :) :) :)

I've been droning on about reprinting this series for donkey's years, but I never thought it would actually happen - but now, hopefully, it will!

52 years old and I'm sat here drooling like a little fanboy again. Do you think they also might release a special Artist's Variant Edition, with bigger pages scanned from the original art, limited circulation, foil-backed numbered signed covers and all the other paraphernalia that seem to be all the rage these days?

On a more serious note, it's nice to see Rebellion working with material that's not fantasy/horror based (despite the JD tie-in). Imho one of the many reasons there are fewer newsstand comics around these days is that we don't see the range of genres that we had in the 60's and 70's.

So what did everyone think?

Great production values I thought, though I think it would have been nicer to be hardback, but yeah very nice item.

As to the actual stories... I can kind of see why I never really got into old one-eye earlier. Might be my age nowadays but its so derivative as to be annoying.

But then I do still rate Hookjaw and Look out for Lefty, so yeah YMMV. I've put mine on eBay and will use the proceeds to grab a hardback Leopard from Lime St.

Still awesome to see these reprints getting long overdue respect.

If anyone's interested, you can still get the signed bookplate edition for £19.99 on the Rebellion website and non-signed for £14.99

Hmmm. I think I have been diddled. I have got the £19.99 edition with the card showing it is a limited edition (7/200). But there is no signature in sight. Is it meant to be on the card? Or in the book itself?

There's a sticker on the inside front cover with the sig on it.

You're not the one trying to flog it for £49.99 are you? Who'd pay that when they can buy a brand new one direct from the publisher for £20?

Have a look at their other prices. I think that the decimal point has been misplaced on a few items such as the £1,699 wanted for the John Ridgway page!

Is the book complete as in all the stories or will a volume 2 need to be produced if this is a success.? I only ever read one eyed jack in new Eagle.
