I have a soft spot for the early years. So may get first two volumes.
I think the Mirror or Star had a similar character called Scorer.

I have the 1st 6 volumes they are stunning books i've yet to order 7 with vol 8 due soon, THE Mirror had scorer.

Thanks for sharing. Will treat myself to vol. 1. See how I get on. Might be like Grange Hill where I will only watch the first few years.

Yeah I miss the old newspaper cartoons. Have a couple of the George and Lynne collections.nice art despite corny humour.

My folks bought the Sun of course so never read scorer or Garth.Modesty Blaise was another.

Any other decent bygone series from the tabloids ?

just ordered vol 8 before 7 as that seems to have a lower print run than previous volumes.
