Here we have another request for help.

Hi Colin I have this mad recollection of reading this sometime in the late 70s/early 80s about a group of kids who can travel through time via a fireplace. One story they can’t get back home as it seals up on them. Am I making this up or is there a strip out there with a familiar theme. Not even sure what title it might have been in or which publisher DC or IPC. If you shed any light in it be much appreciated!
