dandy beano summer special 1963 just found!!

hi all ,
im new to the forum and to be honest i dont collect comics but have come by a large collection which included the summer dandy and beano sumer special 1963 looks in great conditon
dandy summer special 1964 good
beano summer special 1964 good

my questions are is it worth paying to get them graded before selling them to maximise how much i get , and were would you sell them is ebay the best place?

I think that eBay is probably the best bet for direct sales, but you may find it worth offering some or all of them to 30th Century Comics (https://30thcenturycomics.co.uk/). They usually want to see a list with approximate grades, but would probably be interested in early 60's titles in good condition. If nothing else, their online catalogue will give you an idea of the going rate for the comics you have if you decide to sell them direct on eBay.

Very nice pictures of those Summer Specials. I suppose you've got to factor in the cost of grading and all that it entails, case ect... , but It's up to you. Thanks for uploading them anyway.

Looking at the 1963 issue, apart from the little stain on the top right hand corner cover, minor stain spots to rear cover, no writing, can't see any obvious rips, tears or crazing to the spine. Looks in FN-condition.

And the others look in superb condition. FN+ & FN I think.

Hey, no worries. You've got some very sought after comics there.

Yeah, it's a minefield at times. I empathise. Trying to grade and research the worth of individual comics can be stressful. Good luck anyway. Hope you make a handsome profit.
