TV Comic artists.

I wish someone would publish a TV Comic companion. I find it's one of the hardest comics to identify individual artists. I've collected comics since 1965 but still have no idea who drew the TV Terrors. Same with Tich and Quackers. I think Popeye was by Bill Mevin but he usually signed his work and most stories from early 70s aren't signed so could be US Sunday Funnies reprints. I look for clues like re-lettered UK currency etc. Basil Brush and Laurel and Hardy were also strips I could never identify the art on.

The funny thing is that in the late 70s I lost interest in TV Comic and preferred the newsprint publications. Now I am selling stuff off I find I'd be reluctant to part with the TV Comics.

I completely agree Steve and am also a massive fan of this publication and have hundreds of them.
I believe that Bill Titcombe was the artist that drew TV Terrors.

I don't think so, I can easily recognise Titcombe's art and would have spotted it. I wrote to the TV Comic editor after it folded and should have asked him then.
