Love the colours he used on the Annual cover..also lovely cute scene..

he has done some great busy pictures...love the kid with the xray machine..

thanks so much for some great pictures to marvel at...Bill sure drew some great stuff..

A tribute book to him would be great...But these posts are doing this in some ways..

Its quite funny that the poster page about a free gift is for the next week rather than the actual week..

I have a booklet called Soldier Humour "110 cartoons from Soldier, the British army magazine" dated 1960. Among the 110 cartoons is one from "W.RITCHIE"

See the ones that have Braddock featured on the top banner, above the masthead, any chance you could scan and post up one of them? There's a good chance that my father-in-law Douglas Phillips would've drawn him at that time, it'll be nice to see if so.

And, if so, I'd love to see some of them in his dedication thread.

Thanks in advance, Steve.

Just came online to do some ebaying but I'll dig out some Braddock pages later in the week. He was in most issues I think.

Just one random page from that particular era, Steve, and my wife will confirm it. We've seen his Braddock stuff from his Big Scrapbook, but not many published full strips. Would be nice to see, so no rush or anything, this week will be absolutely fine.

Thanks, again.

I looked at those Rovers and, back in the 50s, they were text stories with just one picture. I think the Braddock strips were in the Victor in the 60s. I'll check but I don't have many Victors.

Classics from the Comics ran a few of the Victor Braddock strips about a year before it folded. So check those too.
