I have a question for you in regards to Sid Burgon
I know his earliest work that I know of was Joker (in Knockout) and the last work that I know of he did was Biffo the Bear for the Beano, and Adrian the Barbarian for the Beezer (and later the Beezer and Topper) as well as Bully Beef and Chips for the Dandy
I was wondering if he did any work before 1971 and after this period.
Sid Burgon
Re: Sid Burgon
Joker is the first I know of. He also did Keyhole Kate in the Dandy in the 1990s, but I think he retired after his run on Bully Beef and Chips. He's 79 now.

He done work for Shiver and Shake in 1973: it was a strip about flowers with dog-like heads,,,,,,,, dunno if this was his earliest work other than in Knockout, though......
Re: Sid Burgon
He was doing Lollypop for Whoopee in 1977... I know this because he left his moniker on said work.

Sid was a professional cartoonist from 1963, although he used his initials as a pseudonym then (SWAB). He retired in 2012. More info here:blaing wrote:I have a question for you in regards to Sid Burgon
