Original Allo Allo Artwork

Post by Into The Abyss »

Thought I'd share these images of my original Allo Allo artwork. All pages appeared in the Youth Magazine Fast Forward, which was a magazine created in the late 80s to rival the established Look-in. It featured the usual soap stars, kids TV series and Teen celebrities. More importantly, it featured classic cartoon strips from none other than cult BBC comedy TV series, Allo Allo. 8)

The mag ran between the years 1989 and 1995 before ceasing. I've been trying to source the magazines, but its not easy, as some pages have no issue numbers. Nice strips though. Sadly the artist is not known.

Well I be buttered like a peice of toast. Never noticed that? Thanks Richard.S. I'll get that page out and have a look. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘

Update 21:56pm: Looking with my magnifying glass made out what appears to be someone called. Andy Azimt. Looked on the net but sadly
can't find anyone with that name. My search goes on. ๐Ÿ˜

I'm happy to say I've just found out the name of the artist. It's one Andy Hunt. He also did the Bread TV series comic strip for the Fast Forward Magazine too. ๐Ÿ˜€๐ŸŽ‰

All credit goes to you Richard.S. Thank you. ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ˜€

I've had those pages for a while now and not once did I see that signature? Think I need stronger specs. ๐Ÿค“

The irony is. I found the artist Andy Hunt yesterday due to someone selling some Fast Forward Bread TV series art on eBay. And Hunt , which his surname turned out to be, not Azimt, lol, did that strip too. Thankfully his signature was a little more legible on that page. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
