New here, so please bear with me.
I've been trying to find a UK war comic from the mid-70s, likely from the 1973-76 range. There were two stories in it that I remember: one
involving a squadron of British tanks fighting in the desert, one of which had the name Springbok. The other story involved a ship used by
British commandos to ram a gate in a German-held port and destroy it.
I honestly can't remember if it was Commando, Battle Action, or another title. Please let me know if this needs to be posted elsewhere.

(great Hendrix ref btw!)
This is almost impossible to answer but to narrow it down.....
Any idea whether it was A4 or A5 size?
Are we looking for a digest pocket book or a standard type comic of the time?
Springbok are famous for South African tanks.

Re: Looking for war stories from 73-76 timeframe
It was probably A4 size and had at least 3 stories in it. It was definitely from the 1973-76 timeframe before I moved outside the UK. I seem to recall that the destroyer story involved commandos taking over a ship to destroy the locks on some dam...wish I could remember more.
