Robert Fisk article in the Independent

Pocket-sized war 'comic' that has been around since 1961 and is still going strong.

Robert Fisk article in the Independent

Post by stevezodiac »

This was in Saturday's Independent. Mr Fisk wrongly titles the comic but that's understandable for a non comic fan. Wasn't Combat Picture Library published by Pearsons? My Mum was bombed out of two homes in Deptford and Rotherhithe during the war and she and the children in her school were fired upon by a German aircraft at Childeric School in New Cross. I think the bullet holes are still in the wall of the school playground.

The usual tired guff, then. Articles like this always make me glad i'm creating comics in this style myself.
