I am a new member and this is my first post. I am a retiree 72yrs old and not a comic collector.
Many years ago, 1960s i was a regular visitor to local market comic stall courtesy of my Grandmother.
She bought me lots of various comics weekly for a few years, 380 comics to be precise.
These have been hidden away in bottom drawers, until recently and i decided someone else could be enjoying these, so out they came.
Looking on this forum i guess there are some serious collectors of commando,
Amongst the hoard are a number of commando comics, 37 off, the lowest no being 161,187,202,209,216,221,225,228,236,237,254266,273,276,277,284,292,298,301,303,305,
306,311,313,316,321,322,326,357,360,372,377,378,379,382,405,430. and measure appx 177 x 140.
So i just wanted to let you know that if you are a collector with any missing, i have taken ALL comics to
Anderson and Garland auctioneers at Newcastle and auction is in September.
