Just wondered if there was going to be an Annual or maybe a summer special.

The comic's only just started so it's very unlikely there'll be a summer special or an annual yet. If you think back to the old comics they'd usually (but not always I admit) be running a while before such spin offs appeared.

At least the UK now has a brand new weekly comic. That's something people here have been wanting for years.

I'm guessing there's more likely to be a few graphic novels collecting the serials which are in the DFC. I suspected from the beginning that this was the idea all along, and perhaps the DFC is a canny way of procuring finance for these. Although, they are bying a LOT of artwork, so it's maybe not just thrift.

How many people are buying it/subscribe? As they don't appear to advertise at all, I'm interested to find out. I can't quite work the sums out, but I'm sure they must be selling enough to recoup the cost of 36 pages of artwork a week!
