Were these the same picture stories that were printed in early issues of the Topper?

As I remember it these adaptations were first serialised in The Peoples Journal. They were reprinted in colour in The Topper, then four of them were reformatted as hardback books.

Adaptations of King Solomon's Mines, Alan Quartermain, and The Three Musketeers weren't given the book treatment.

Thank you for answering my question.

I wonder if the answer was in Ray Moore's Topper Tales index. I dont have a copy myself. I've only managed to get hold of his Beezer index.
