I heard this today on the morning news. Such a shame that we have lost a great character actor. There are a few left around, but how many actors could make a career out of a squint and a dodgy raincoat?

I stil think that one of his best roles was in The Princess Bride. I know it was a cameo, but he stole every scene he was in. RIP Peter

I think my favourite role of his was as Sam Diamond in the wonderfully silly 'Murder by Death'. Alec Guinness, Maggie Smith, David Niven, Peter Sellers and Truman Capote were all in the same movie-but Falk dominated every scene he was in!
