Sound Of The Seventies
Don't know if anyone caught this, but a member of this website was featured today. Stand up Kev Sutherland. That went well as I was driving back from Kew and you certainly have an eclectic taste in music.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!

Yes, I heard this, Col: as soon as I heard 'artist who drew the Bash Street Kids', my ears perked up to attention.

Since it's a Radio 2 programme, it can of course be found on iPlayer.

A great show, one i'm loathed to interupting - know i can "listen again", but resented getting to work yesterday and having to turn the car radio off

They also had Glen Matlock from the Pistols on in the second half....I doubt if the BBC would have interviewed him in '76/'77!

Not a chance! It was interesting to hear his take on the time though as my view was so very different. (No surprise as I was more interested in what comics were in my local shop than who was topping the charts).ISPYSHHHGUY wrote:They also had Glen Matlock from the Pistols on in the second half....I doubt if the BBC would have interviewed him in '76/'77!
