I want to start a blog, under the name "nothing." How can i go about that? Hopefully Harry Rickard, Andy Fanton, anyone can help.

I recommend using WordPress however it's quite hard to use, play safe and go with the easier alternative, Blogger.

I'd agree that Blogger is a good place to start, there's a help site here http://www.google.com/support/blogger/?hl=en&rd=1

Just create a blog and mess around with it until you've got something you can live with. You can then tweak it over the following weeks as you find your way around.

Once you think you're past the stage of Blogger only then go onto WordPress. (although Blogger is very good; I honestly prefer WordPress a lot more!)

Blogger is the easiest, and is is easily recommended for beginners.

I only use Wordpress because a friend of mine was already using it, and helped me with the basics when I was starting out. And I've just started experimenting with an inexpensive program called Artisteer which let's you easily create a custom template and give your blog a bit of personality...it works with Blogger and Wordpress sites.

Excellent Mike thanks again for that I'm on holiday in a couple of weeks so plan to have a look into Blogger - as part of my work we may be taking on a Word Press Intranet format so if that happens I will get training so could be helpful
