All we can do is hope, steelclaw. I think I am speaking for all Bolton supporters when I thank all Spurs supporters for their early appreciation of the seriousness of the situation, their concern for a professional footballer in trouble, and their immediate empathy with Bolton's supporters, which led to a respectful chant of the player's name, applause and an orderly departure from the stadium after the referee abandoned the match.

I was shocked to hear about Fabrice Muamba. I really hope he comes through, my thoughts and prayers are with him at this time.

I didn't watch the game but from what I've read both sets of supporters were very respectful and understanding of the seriousness of the situation, which they should be applauded for.

Not surprisingly, Tuesday's Bolton vs Aston Villa match has been postponed.

Fabrice Muamba: 'Offensive' Twitter comments prompt police inquiry

South Wales Police say a man, aged 21, has been arrested in connection with racially offensive comments made on the social network site Twitter.

It is understood to follow complaints about comments made following the collapse of Bolton footballer Fabrice Muamba during a FA Cup tie on Saturday.
Ugh, how can people be so insensitive?
