No sound on youtube

Can anyone tell me why, when I go to youtube, I no longer have any sound? Worked perfectly before.

Non-plussed of Deptford. (or baffled of Bermondsey for alliteration lovers)
Just to add - I have been onto a rock band's website and the music was ok there so nothing wrong with my pc.

Is the volume at the bottom of the YouTube screen switched to mute? Look bottom left of the video screen, next to the Play arrow. The mute button looks like a little loudspeaker. If you've clicked it by mistake there'll be a cross to the right of it. Just click on it again.

Yes it was on mute - silly me. Apologies for late response but haven't used my pc much this week. Now ebay charge 35p an item I'm having to wait till October to take advantage of 30 free listings per month. I check comics uk on my work computer but as I have been off work for four months it no longer remembers my password and neither do I so I can't respond there.
