It's in FPI Belfast, but I didn't have £2.99 in cash - so I'll be back next week!

Got strip magazine today, forbidden planet london had loads it has some good stories and it struck me more than clint did with its 1st issue it just seems better somehow,I just hope it sticks around long enough to finish hookjaw reprints.one thing did intrest me though was in the forbidden planet interview they said 2000ad & clint were neck & neck in sales so either 2000ad is not selling or clint is selling a lot more than i thought, but both are on sale in whs & newsagents which is something strip will have to address.

Cambridge Forbidden Planet did have it after all. So perhaps I will plonk down £1.51 over the odds for Bakuman book 8 next month after all!

It's pretty good, not keen on Recovery Inc or Warpaint, but then I didn't expect to like them much from the previews. The joy of an anthology is there's other stuff that I do like, such as Black Ops and Hook Jaw! The contest winning strip was good too, I liked seeing black and white! The articles were decent too... was the Action article a one-off, prompted by the reprint of Hook Jaw, or will we see other overviews of famous comics?

Not being familiar with adventure comics and only ever buying humour comics, I'm going to try out the unknown and buy this comic. It looks brilliant and the artwork is at a continuous high. From reading the previews I love the look of the humour strips and also think Hookjaw looks both gross and exciting!

Any clue where I can get it? Will it be out in newsagents, also how much does it cost?

It ought to be in Forbidden Planet and independent comic shops. There's actually an article about the former inside so they will certainly be selling the first issue!

There's only two humour strips so if there was two in the preview you've seen 'em all!

On that subject though, did anybody else think I.Spy when they saw the back cover?

Three copies left in Forbidden Planet Edinburgh. They are selling "lots".

According to the facebook page Diamond have requested a second print run! Bet it's a long time since the Dandy office heard those words.

My copy's on order at FP. :)

Given all the recent dowly news on circulation figures, I'd be intrigued to know what the break-even figure on sales is, if that's not an impolite question.

I'm guessing somewhere circa 15,000 copies?

This word is not in my copy of The New Oxford Dictionary Of English. What does it mean and what is its etymology?

Just Google the word and you'll get both the official and urban dictionary links.

Might this expression of surprise be just a little OTT, and indeed somewhat unbecoming of a moderator? :D
