New/old best of Look & Learn

Did anyone ever buy the new series of the best of look & learn as i just seen they are offering a complete run on the website http://www.lookandlearn.com/magazine/index.php
Can it really be 2007 when im sure i remember some of us on here talking about the preview issue 00.
Did they ever complete the trigan empire or ben hur strips from preview issue in the remaining 48 issues or did they run for years & years .are they worth getting as the art on the strips does look very good & this was another title that passed me by as a child.

Any fans in my area might want to head to Trinity Market in Hull's old town, there's a second hand book stall there with a stack of Look and Learn comics.
