Webcomic updates

We've gone Marvel mad this month at Starscape. Not only can you enjoy the first installment of the fanfic starring Thor as he begins his journey to the multiple Earths of the DC Universe (first up against the classic Kirby creation of Orion and the New Gods) but you can also view the moments after the gamma radiation overdose of Bruce Banner in Hulk: the Aftermath fanfilm.

Dek Baker's first contribution to Starscape comes in the form of the short horror story, Monster! Stay tuned for more in the coming months.

Look at the terrific poster of the Guard Dogs by Argentinean artist, Renzo Podesta. Plus we go to the moon for the new superteam - The Abnormals! And believe me, they're even more surprised!

Ever wondered about Starscape? The name, the origin, the new tales, the reprints, the switch from printed to webcomic? No? Oh well, they're in the History of Starscape anyway.

All FREE!!!

Writers and artists always wanted.

Keep looking to the Stars,

At last, at STARSCAPE webcomic (http://www.StarscapeComic.co.uk), we have the first installment of one of the most wonderful strips in recent British comics history. The Guard Dogs moves in to full colour against the Twig Boy as told by Jason Quinn (Spider-Man, Commando, Power Rangers, Tom & Jerry) and illustrated by John Britton (TV Comic, Flash Gordon, Batman, Action). Be warned, the Guard Dogs will never be the same again after this adventure!

There's also another amazing adventure by our golden age heroes. This time it's Masterman - the mightiest man in a skirt! Plus we end the first installment of the Nimrod galaxy with the Deterrent part 3.

Grant Springford continues with his superweirdness in the Abnormals, whilst Dek Baker and Dave Morris begin their conclusion to the classic Jack Kirby OMAC series.

And look out for the review of the Avengers/Defenders War - one of the greatest crossover stories in history!

All FREE!!! Donations welcome.

Writers and artists always wanted.

Calling all Starkids!

Up now at the website of Starscape comic (http://www.StarscapeComic.co.uk) are the latest stories from the Valiant for the 21st Century. Updates include:
- stunning all-colour artwork from John 'TV21' Britton in Jason Quinn's Guard Dogs, complete with some very serious repercussions from one of Cockchester's super-team.
- Jack Kirby's original Omac is continued the way it should have ended in the 1970s
- Nimrod Universe sees the battle of the hydrophyllic heroes as the Vanquishers Sea-Hawk faces off against Aqua of the Overmen in this fun-filled adventure.
- The Moon becomes a haven for super-powers as the Earth temporarily ends in Grant Springford's the Abnormals.
- Tales That Astonished sees a review of 2000AD sister comic story, the Angry Planet from Tornado. A tale of the parched landscape of Mars as drawn by Bellardinelli.

Don't forget, this is also the last chance to pre-order your copy of Hookjaw for the reduced price of GBP 10 including UK p & p. Details at the Starscape website and http://www.SpitfireComics.co.uk

And don't forget, we're always looking for stories and artists!

Keep looking to the stars!

There's a wealth of comics this month! Guard Dogs v Twig Boy reaches an epic conclusion. Young Marvelman visits Brighton. There's a taster of Hook Jaw. We promote British comics with suck and see, starring Doomlord (please buy it) and for posterity, Angry Planet. Omac contiunues as does Vanquishers v Overmen in Nimrod. The first part of Grant Springford's Clock Works makes an appearance and even the Leopard from Lime Street has a Christmas message.

And hey, what about new text stories from Link Yaco (author of Science of the X-Men), a Watchmen FanFilm, the fantastic Carnival of Souls horror movie and comic reviews in Suspended Animation. And check out the cartoons, serials and Starweb for more!

All FREE!!! Donations welcome.
