Missing Links

Post by dreamticket »

I've just noticed we no longer have the set of links we used to have to other sites. I'm trying to find the site that (among other things) repro'd a bunch of stories from the likes of Janus Stark, Cursitor Doom, and Steel Claw.

Does that ring any bells with anyone, and can you oblige me with a link to the site(definitely British)?

Sorry to be so vague, but I'm a complete blank on the site's name.

Any chance of getting a Links feature of some sort back up? (Just a suggestion).

Hi DreamTicket,

I've had a look at the old Links page to locate the site that you're after.

It may have been the British Comic Art blog (http://britishcomicart.blogspot.com/):

Janus link: http://britishcomicart.blogspot.com/search?q=janus

Cursitor Doom: http://britishcomicart.blogspot.com/search?q=cursitor

Steel Claw: http://britishcomicart.blogspot.com/search?q=steel+claw

The Links page will be included in the first phase (of 3) of the new site. It is starting to take shape and will look and behave completely differently to the olde one. I will let you know closer to the time when the first phase will get released. Hopefully within the next two weeks.

In the meantime, if anyone else wants to access the old links page, here it is!

I love archive.org, comes in really handy sometimes! :)

Thanks for that, but about an hour after posting my original query I remembered that some of the members have sites of their own. Crow's was the first one I checked out. A very useful site which I shall return to, but it turned out the one I was looking for was this one:

http://adameternoforever.tripod.com

There are a few other sites I have not been able to track down yet, so I look forward to the new links list.

Now, how do these people get away with publishing so much material and not get pinged for breach of copyright? (I'm not having a go here, I'm just curious).

Cheers. Gordon.

Looks like it's nearly ready, I stumbled across a test version while doing a Google image search.

It actually looks really good and much more modern.

EDITED to remove link, sorry Al.
