I wrote to Alan asking if he could enable feeds and the great guy has.
The URL is http://comicsuk.co.uk/Forum/feed.php which you can copy and use in a Feed Reader (I use FeedDemon), or in Google Reader, or even in most modern browsers as Live Bookmarks...and I recently moved to Outlook 2010 at work and that allows RSS feeds too. Whether an Atom Feed will work in the latter - not sure.
What are feeds?
In the old days, you had to visit a site every time you wanted to see if it updated. Now if it has feeds, you only need open one of the above choices and it will push a notification to you. Saves so much time!

Oh, and I should say, you don't get the full view of the Forum, - i.e. little or no pictures, but if a topic gets your interest, click on it to go to the forum

Talking to myself here...help me Al!
I think it's time to stick my head above the parapet and ask for the reinstallation of the RSS feeds...please!
Thanks again Al

Re: Atom Feeds now available
No reinstall needed. Just change your bookmark, it's case sensitive and should be a small f in forum. So, http://comicsuk.co.uk/forum/feed.php
Shows up as code in the browser.

What he said
This problem occurred after I changed the host of Comics UK a couple of months ago. Everything went fine except for this case-sensitivity issue on folder names within the website.
