It is good- I got it for my birthday, with the Dandy, and for Christmas I got Dennis the Menace, The Broons, the Broons and Oor Wullie 70 years young, Beano and Dandy spin round the 60's. Now all I need is the Bash Street Kids!

post-christmas, they're now available for ?2 i got the beano yesterday and it seemed to be a bumper-sized annual this year.
the quality of the artwork seems quite impressive and the "jagged edges" and fuzziness of some of last year's computer-generated art had disappeared.
some nice odd little stories scattered throughout keep it rolling along but once more i can't see the point of taking a photograph and sticking a picture of a beano character on it. particularly when there's no attempt to make it look.
on the whole though very impressive- there's a feshness to the strips that was missing just a few years ago...
