Well, bought the BeanoMax special summer edition, seeing as that is the 'replacement' now for the old Summer Specials and, frankly, was disappointed.
Strikes me as a bit strange that the Dandy Summer Special is well, kind of special, with lots of new strips and predominantly strips at that (see Nigel's post over on the Dandy forum on this site).
I know BeanoMax is meant to replace the 'specials' for The Beano, but this years offering is lacking somewhat (imho).
Do we think it would be overkill to have 1 summer special of The Beano alongside the two regular comics?
