Post by Old Forum Fella » 11 Mar 2006, 12:14

I have a 1973 beano annual with no date on the
front cover. I have seen pictures of the same annual which all have dates on, can anyone
please tell me why mine has no date. Thankyou.

BEANO ANNUAL '73 WITH NO DATE!!! HELP!!!

Hi,
No new info I'm afraid..But will be interested to know if anybody can help. My copy has the 1973 type so it's just one of the ordinary ones. Since the annual artwork would have had several cels with different type on each I assume one print RUN would have had the cel missing. Does such a change affect the rarity value? Would this printing error have affected just one copy of a run, assuming it was spotted?
I have a simmilar oddity which I'm also keen to know other folks thoughts on.
Two 1968 Lady Penelope annuals...but with comletely different interiors. One is 1968 and the other has the 1967 annual interior??
